This truck didn't start as an advertising truck. Chance Aircond Sales & Service built it as a mobile showroom — a way to bring product demos to customers instead of waiting for them to walk into a shop. Good idea on paper, but a rolling aircond showroom is a hard sell when most customers just want a quote and an install date, not a drive-by demo. The showroom model didn't scale.

What we were left with was a self-powered, genset-driven LED screen on a truck — infrastructure most advertising trucks in Malaysia aren't built with, since they're usually purpose-built for advertising rather than repurposed from something else. Rather than let it sit idle, we rebuilt the offering around what it's actually good at: a bright, mobile display that can go where a fixed screen can't. Since 2023 it's run campaigns for FMCG brands, property developers, and government and community events.

It's still owner-operated today — no agency, no account manager relaying messages back and forth. The person you message on WhatsApp for a quote is the person responsible for the truck showing up on your date, in the right spot, with the driver briefed on your route. That direct line is also why pricing is published instead of "contact us" — self-qualify against a real number instead of going through a sales call to find out if we're in budget.
