Grand Openings

A grand opening only gets one real opening weekend — after that, it's just a store that's been open for a while. The job of an LED truck here is simple: make sure nobody driving or walking past your new outlet that weekend can miss that you exist, without relying on people already following you online.

We park stationary directly outside the shopfront for the bulk of the opening — visible to passing traffic, pedestrians, and anyone circling for parking — playing your opening promo, discount, or hero product on loop. For outlets where visibility from the main road is blocked by other units, we can also hold a second position at the nearest junction or main road frontage so the message reaches traffic before they've even turned into your street.

Grand openings are one of the few use cases where a short booking — a single day, or a weekend package — makes full sense on its own, since the campaign window is genuinely just the opening itself. If you're running opening promotions that continue for a week or two after (common for F&B and retail), a longer package works out cheaper per day and keeps the truck as the visual anchor for the whole promo period, not just the opening.

Because grand openings are locked to a specific date that's usually tied to renovation completion or a lease start, we recommend confirming the booking as early as your date is fixed rather than waiting until the week of — weekend slots in particular get booked out fastest.
